Quest Giver reverses the typical RPG setup by having you play the role of an NPC giving quests. As you experience different scenarios, you’ll have to manage your heroes and properly assign them quests. If you misstep, you may lead them to their death and inevitably, get fired.

The SteamWorld developers show time and time again that they can pull off any genre they attempt. I’ll never stop being surprised by their ability to excel across each one. SteamWorld Build is another great example of how well they continue to develop their universe but this time as a city builder.
Stronghold fans looking for a return to the classic are in for a good time with the Stronghold: Definitive Edition. Between the nostalgia, new content, and graphic overhaul, it’s easily the best way to play the original. And if you’re new to the franchise, it’s a cheap price for a large chunk of RTS content.
Typecast is a creative take on typing games by focusing on typing each letter rather than whole words. Instead of needing to memorize your entire keyboard, you only need to focus on one small area. While dealing with enemies in this bullet hell game, you’ll spend most of your time near the left side of …
You Will Die Here Tonight successfully takes inspiration from popular survival horror games while still having its own unique twists. It mixes in roguelite elements without creating a frustrating experience that often comes with that genre. As a fan of games like Motherload and SteamWorld Dig, I really hoped Mining Mechs would be a fun addition to that mini-genre. The premise is typically to mine for resources, sell them, upgrade, and then mine even further down. However, it needs to be more than just that concept to stay interesting. This is …

It’s up to you to rebuild humanity in this post-apocalyptic wasteland while dealing with all sorts of problems. Worrying about food and thirst is one thing, but then you also have climate change and raiders to make …
The Stronghold franchise has always been a strong source of nostalgia for me growing up on the original and Crusader. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Stronghold: Warlords demo back in June 2020 during a Steam Game Festival. Now that I’ve had plenty of time with it, I can safely say Firefly …
I’ve had my eye on Carrion for a while going years back to when I first saw a prototype on Reddit. Seeing how far developer Phobia Game Studio has taken Carrion and built it into this gross monstrosity is an incredible sight. The premise of this reverse horror game follows your blob creature rampaging through …
Disintegration immediately appealed to me when I first tried the multiplayer beta back in January. The combination of FPS elements with a dash of RTS is something you don’t really see in other games. The closest I get to that these days is leading a group of actual players in something like Squad or Hell …
