Deciding where to invest skill and paragon points in Diablo 4 can be stressful when they feel permanent. Especially since we already know how the gold costs can add up quickly for resetting skill points. And if you’re someone who likes to experiment with different builds, learning how resetting works is important.
More than anything I’d love a way to have multiple skill and paragon presets so I can always change for the situation. If you’ve put a decent chunk of time into Diablo 4, you’ll understand how different it can be going from clearing dungeons to fighting a world boss. Or perhaps you have a set way of playing made for the PvP regions.
Can You Reset Paragon Points & Boards in Diablo 4
Once you reach level 50 you’ll start gaining paragon points to invest on the paragon board. First, you’ll only have one board of nodes to work through until reaching a “Board Attachment Gate”. Aside from providing +5 to every attribute/stat you have such as Strength, this node does much more.
It provides a completely new board that you can attach and continue working through nodes for more buffs. However, each paragon board is unique so you’ll want to pay attention before picking one at random. This is why many players are left wondering, can you reset paragon points and boards in Diablo 4?
Fortunately, the quick answer is that you can easily reset paragon points similar to skill points. The same goes for paragon boards even though you will need to reset the entire board first. This can be annoying if you’ve invested a lot of points into a board. Since there isn’t a trick to resetting them all at once.
You’ll need to reset those nodes without breaking the path to the previous board. Before you jump right in, it’s worth mentioning that there is a gold cost for each node you reset. With that said, the amount of gold needed is mostly negligible at this point in Diablo 4. If you’re low on gold for whatever reason, you can sell some rare(yellow) items to earn enough.
Interestingly enough there doesn’t seem to be a gold cost for resetting paragon boards. Aside from having to reset all the points you’ve already invested into that board. So if you’re stressing over deciding where to put your points, don’t worry too much. It’s worth experimenting with different builds and legendary nodes.
That’s all there is to this short Diablo 4 guide answering the question, can you reset paragon points? One good thing also worth mentioning is that you can unequip Glyphs without having to reset anything. This would be a pain if you had to reset all the way back to each socket.
