Diablo 4 players taking part in the open beta may be wondering when does the beta end? You’d think this would be a simple question to answer, and yet I’ve noticed several sites seem to have misleading information. This is likely due to the Diablo 4 advertising listing the beta as taking place from March 24 to March 26.
However, the beta actually ends on March 27, which may vary slightly depending on your time zone. So make sure you know the exact time it ends if you’re trying to play as much as you can before the launch. Regardless, here’s the quick answer to when the beta starts and ends.
Diablo 4 Open Beta Start and End Times
Starts at: March 24, 12 p.m. EDT
Ends at: March 27, 3 p.m. EDT
For more information regarding the open beta directly from Blizzard, you can visit the news post on their site. The post also explains more about how to get the wolf pup and several exclusive titles too. Otherwise, we’ve listed a few guides below relevant whether you’re playing the beta or checking it out much later at the release in June 2023.
These guides answer some common questions in the community like what the death penalty is or where to spend the new currency. Especially if you’re not sure how to get Obols or even how to use emotes for random quests that require it. This seems to be part of the transition to having a few MMO elements in Diablo 4.

I tried playing the early access beta before and it said it couldn't find a server available to ping and that it couldn't verify the game license. I just wish the save data from the beta carried over to the base game at release. I reached level 20 in the early access beta, i remember the Diablo 2 beta the save data didn't carry over into the base game at release.
