How to Get the Alchemist’s Tent in Loop Hero
Before you can make the Alchemist’s Tent, you’ll need to work your way up the camp building tree. The last building before making it is the Library. Once you’ve done so, you’ll need to gather up the resources below before you can build the Alchemist’s Tent. I’ve listed a few ways to get each resource. But if you need more info, comment below the article and I’ll get back to you. Our guide here has a recommended build order for your camp.
- 24 Stable Metal (From certain enemies, Treasury card, and all overflow items from your inventory)
- 24 Food Supply (From certain enemies such as Ratwolves, fighting on Battle Fields, Treasury card, and Farm buildings)
- 2 Astral Orb (From killing mage & cosmic enemies)
- 3 Orb of Unity (From killing liquid and swarm enemies)
What Does the Alchemist’s Tent Do?
The Alchemist’s Tent is an extremely useful late-game building for upgrading your camp. As shown in the above screenshot, you can destroy(decompose) resources to make(synthesize) other ones. By using the Alchemy tab on the right, you’ll see this window once you’ve made the tent. It’s a great way to get rid of resources you have an abundance of to create resources you need. I immediately upgraded my War Camp from 1 to 5, without even starting a loop. This makes it easier to get annoying resources, especially for those of you doing infinite loops for certain resources.
For further info on how the Alchemist’s Tent actually works, here you go. Before you can create any resources, you’ll need to destroy/decompose each one, once. If you decompose resource chunks/complete pieces, you don’t need to decompose the shards used to make it. I haven’t confirmed if it works vice versa. After doing so, you can start making/synthesizing them. You’ll get hydrogen from decomposing items that you can then spend to make any resource you’ve unlocked.
- The white number above a resource is the hydrogen needed to make it.
- The orange number below a resource is the hydrogen produced from decomposing it.
If you see a resource in the above screenshot that you haven’t gotten yet, just ask in the comments and we’ll let you know how we got it. The empty resource shard spots below the Orb of Expansion and Orb of Immortality are because they can’t be made. However, the last empty resource to the far right eludes us. This will likely be added at a later time with updates as we’ve already gotten the achievement for getting every resource. But you never know, it could be a secret like the Frog King boss.
