Learn all the different exits and extractions on the Shoreline map in Escape from Tarkov. This guide explains the requirements for special extractions if you’re not sure why one isn’t working. I also have a few tips on where dangerous areas are.
As we do with every map guide here at Slyther Games, you can find videos of each special condition extract. This helps with escaping when you’re in a rush and aren’t quite sure what to look for.

All 37 Shoreline Hidden Stashes
The Escape from Tarkov map above has yellow numbers spread throughout marking hidden stashes/caches. These are a great way to loot in unpopular areas that not many players know about. For a more in-depth look at each of the 37 Shoreline hidden stashes/caches, check out Pestily’s video below.
Dangerous Areas on Shoreline in Escape from Tarkov
Resort
If you’re looking for action and danger, Resort is the most popular area on Shoreline. This is the top center of the map where the West Wing, Admin, and East Wing buildings are. There are many locked rooms with valuable loot here and it’s a popular place to find meds too.
Also, this area has a large amount of AI SCAV spawns. Be wary of getting shot through windows while looting in hallways. This is a good opportunity if you’re looking to get some kills for experience. But, you’re more likely to make too much noise and have a player sneak up on you.
Swamp
The Swamp can be a frustrating area to explore if you’re not familiar with it. The majority of this area shown in the map significantly slows down your movement speed. This is the last place you want to be if an enemy shows up because you’re essentially, dead in the water. However, there are certain areas that make traversing the Swamp a little easier.
For example, planks along the floor are safe to move along. Otherwise, I wouldn’t bother looting here unless you’re determined to get a few boxes or hidden stashes. Considering Shoreline is loaded with hidden stashes, there are plenty of better choices to loot instead.
Miscellaneous Areas
Since Shoreline is a large map, there are many areas to be wary of SCAV AI. However, Resort is the primary place that brings players together. You should still be careful of the Road to Customs, Pier Boat, Lighthouse, and Power Station as well. Since Road to Customs is a popular extract for both PMCs and SCAVs, it’s more likely to be dangerous.
Where is the Shoreline SCAV Boss?
Shoreline has added a few bosses throughout Tarkov’s development. Players can run into Sanitar near Resort, the Pier office, and the cottages near the swamp. Otherwise, you may run into Partisan who sets traps and can easily sneak up on you anywhere on the map. But that’s not all, you can also find the three Goons bosses at the weather station. This includes Knight, Big Pipe, and Bird Eye.
The Cultists can also spawn on Shoreline near the swamp and resort. This is currently their highest spawn rate map.
